Red Dawn is not just a movie anymore
Russia and North Korea signed a new treaty that provides mutual defense assistance, formalizing the two countries' heightened level of military and diplomatic cooperation.1 President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty after their summit in Pyongyang on Wednesday, June 19th.
This reminds me of the 1984 film, Red Dawn. The movie depicted a fictional World War III centering on an invasion of the United States by an alliance led by the Soviet Union. Of course, Hollywood had to put out a remake. In the 2012 film, the invading army and antagonists were changed from China to North Korea. One year later, Olympus Has Fallen was released and earned more than $170 million at the box office. That movie showed the White House being attacked by a North Korean paramilitary group on foot and by warplanes.
Is China, North Korea and Russia launching an attack within the United States far off? Not at all. Since President Joe Biden took office, men of military age have been flooding into our country from Mexico. These men, from China and North Korea, were sent here for a mission and it’s not to “have a better life.” It’s be clear, the blame is not solely on Biden, but rather weak leaders who failed to eliminate the threat early on.
Meanwhile, brainwashing has occurred in our nation and we’ve seen it and even experienced it but haven’t done anything to put a stop to it. Mentally ill individuals have been allowed to lie about their gender, believe law enforcement should not exist, think peace is can be achieved and some actually believe their obesity is “sexy.”
When you think of threats facing our national security, we certainly think of terrorists and countries like China, North Korea, Russia and even Iran but we don’t look at the threat we face from within our own country: the brainwashed, mentally ill folks who are so far removed from reality, it’s threating our safety and security.
