Healthy Paws acquires Sheboygan Veterinary Clinic
SHEBOYGAN — Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic has acquired Sheboygan Veterinary Clinic on the city’s south side and will reopen the clinic next month.
Sheboygan Veterinary Clinic, located at South 11th Street and Indiana Avenue in the Franklin Park neighborhood, has been owned and operated by Dr. John Zechlinski. Earlier this year, Zechlinski retired after 40 years and announced Healthy Paws would continue to carry out his mission in providing wellness care for pets in the community. “My relationships with all my clients, patients, and co-workers are what have made this profession so special to me,” said Zechlinski. “I appreciate all the loyalty and friendships throughout the years.”
Dr. Trisha Fasse founded Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic in 2012 at 428 Main Street in Sheboygan Falls. Dr. Nicki Veres became part-owner with Fasse in January 2022. Healthy Paws purchased the Sheboygan Veterinary Clinic building at 1103 Indiana Avenue in November 2021. According to the owners, the vision for the new practice location is to serve as a wellness care clinic for routine and preventative medicine. As the patient base continues to grow, this will help to decrease wait times and have more doctor availability.
Beginning in June, the Sheboygan location will be fully operational Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. During the month of May, the new clinic may be closed several days for some finishing touches. If you are planning to pick up medications or stop by for services, you should call (920) 452-2899 or (920) 550-2147.
